Sambalpur: Ashoka buildcon mind-boggling work, tax collecting from village roads
Sambalpur: Dissatisfaction with the Ashoka Buildcon reform is on the rise again. People are now at the door of the RDC today to protest against the illegal tax collection of Ashoka Buildcon from the village road. The demand letter to the RDC on behalf of the ‘Uthkantha’ Institution, which is made up of concerned citizens and intellectuals of Sambalpur, calls for an immediate end to the illegal collection of taxes from village roads.
The Sambalpur-Bargarh National Highway is connected by a road from the village of Ambasadha near Barahgoda. Ashoka Buildcon barricaded the road on the national highway. The panchayat road has been constructed at the expense of the people. Ashoka Buildcon has no role to play in the construction of this road. Despite this, money is being collected from vehicles plying the village road. The administration has remained silent, even though the company has been abusing power and extorting money illegally.
Therefore, the RDC has demanded that the Bargarh district magistrate be directed to take steps to stop the arbitrary collection of money from vehicles in the tax arena. It also wants to launch another product without having to worry about the Commission instituting various actions under antitrust law. ” Mahendra Mishra, Shiva Shankar Nanda, Rajaram Padhi, Dr. Sanjeev Mishra, Fanindra Pradhan, Subrata Mohanty, Anil Panigrahi, Surya Panigrahi, Ranjit Rath, Sanjay Sadangi, Saroj Seth chief addressed the RDC today.
