Sambalpur: Attack on former committee member, 8 people arrested

Sambalpur: Police have arrested four people in connection with the attack on a former committee member and his friend in Mundenpali, Jamankira block. The arrested accused are Ajit Hati of Mura Nuabasti, Sasan Thana, Nilambar Besan of Dumbarpali, Anil Oram of Hirakud Larpanka, Akash Munda, Tushar Aind and Himanshu Shekhar Chaubey. Two other minors were involved. Police recovered three ATM cards, two firearms, two iron rods and four mobile phones were seized.

Manoj Naik, a former committee member, and his friend Charan Kisan were returning from Padhanapalli village between 8 and 10 pm on the 26th when they were attacked.
