Sambalpur: Balangir’s link with the fake certificate case caught in Sambalpur Dak Mandal is clear. 6 such candidates have been identified in Sambalpur, while 3 have fake certificates, the police from Balangir has informed. It was created in the factory of fake certificate mastermind Manoj Mishra. Sambalpur Sadar SDPO Pradeep Sahu said that the certificates of Jhili Sahu of Deogarh and Rudrani Pradhan and Jharashree Sahu of Bargarh district were made in Balangir.
Evidence is said to have been recovered from the accused’s computer. Mr. Sahu said that the certificate link of three others Sonali Swain of Bhadrak district, Jyotkant Mohanty of Jagatsinghpur district and Rudramani Mishra of Kalahandi is also being sought. Candidates selected for jobs with fake certificates are now on the run. As everyone’s mobile numbers are switched off, it has become difficult for the police to track them. On the other hand, Rudramani’s father from Kalahandi is being detained and interrogated by the police. Earlier, the postal department had started the search after the fake certificates were caught under the Balangir and Aska postal divisions. Now, after the fake certificates were caught from Sambalpur, the Chief Constable of Sambalpur and all Mandal Chiefs have been asked to take immediate action. Not only from 2023, but also from 2018, the list of all those who have been recruited in GDSL (who have given certificate from out-of-state board) has been asked.
The Balangir representative informed that fake certificate and mark sheet transactions were going on in the name of the coaching center. Designs of marksheets and certificates of various universities, schools and colleges were being prepared. The certificate and mark sheet were coming out on the collar printer. In it fell the seal of mine. Mastermind Manoj Mishra and associate lighting engineer were signing. This happened after asking Manoj and Alok to sign the fake certificate. Based on the information of the remanded mastermind, the crime branch is detaining and interrogating seven people suspected of involvement in the case. While 3 people were detained on Sunday, the number of detainees increased on Monday. Crime Branch DSP has informed that further arrests will increase.
It has been reported that Tribihari Panda and Paresh Budek came under remand and gave the information of the broker to the crime branch. Trivihari and Paresh both applied for jobs in the postal department. Both appeared in the merit list. Tribihari is a resident of Rugudipada town in Balangir and Paresh Belpada block area. The information about how and through whom the Tribihari fake certificates have been obtained in the city has come out from the crime branch. Similarly Paresh is from Belpada block, many fake certificate holders from that block are in the merit list. So the crime branch has got the information about how and through whom Paresh got the fake certificate.
