Burla: Burla police have successfully foiled the robbery plan. Information has been received from police sources who have arrested 8 people including 3 minors involved in it and prosecuted them.
Police have informed that they have seized one numberless Splendor plus bike, one activa (OD15R0659), one torch light, one knife, one axe with two knives, one liquor bottle from the accused.
The arrested accused were Raja alias Laxmicharan Banchhor (26), Tobu alias Sunil Mahanand (20), Buthi alias Arun Jhakar (20), Rinkui alias Kalia Meher (28) and Sunil Sahu (33) of Burla Gaudpali area, along with 3 minors.
During the patrolling at night, after receiving information from a source, Police found these 8 robbers planning for robbery in a dark area near the lajjiz tower.
