Burla: The suspicious death of VSSUT student Chinmayi is in full swing across the state. On the one hand, Chinmayi’s male friends Preetiman Dey and Manas Tudu held on lie detection test, while on the other hand, her family members have been questioned today. Gangadhar said. According to the information received, the police called various people to the police station and interrogated them and recorded their statements at 161 CRPC. They interrogated 31 people including some students of VSSUT. On Sunday, the police questioned Chinmayi’s mother, father, sister and uncle. Meanwhile, Northern regions I.G Mr. Deepak Kumar, Sambalpur SP B. Gangadhar, Burla SDPO Satyabrat Das were present. According to the SP, Chinmayi’s family members were called and asked if they have any information or evidence that would help in the investigation. Along with this, CCTV footage from various places is also being seized and verified. Investigation will be done after the lie detection report is received. The SP further said that according to the post-mortem report, Chinmayi died due to drowning. Whether she committed suicide or was murdered is under investigation. If necessary, Narco-analysis will be done, he said.
