Sambalpur: Bus Helper Attacked at Ainthapali Bus Stand; Private Bus Services Stopped as Staff Demand Justice

Sambalpur: An unfortunate incident has taken place in the vicinity of the Ainthapali private bus stand in Sambalpur city. Here, two miscreants attacked a bus helper with sharp weapons at around 2 am. Both of them tried to take mobile and money from the helper. The helper was seriously injured in the attack. He screamed loudly and was rescued by other bus attendants present there. He was shifted to Burla Hospital in critical condition. The critical bus helper’s name is reported to be Bhuban Behera.

The bus staff are concerned about the incident. The private bus workers have gone on strike demanding the arrest of the accused and setting up a fandi at the private bus stand. They have decided not to let any bus enter the bus stand if the demand is not fulfilled. As a result, private bus services are stopped. Passengers have been observed wandering there. However, the investigation is still ongoing as to how this incident happened.
