Sambalpur: Chaurpur Bridge Accident; Motorcyclist Collides with Pedestrians, Elderly Woman Critically Injured

Sambalpur: A tragic accident occurred at Chaurpur Bridge, leaving an elderly woman critically injured. The incident took place when an elderly man and woman were walking on the road. Suddenly, a motorcyclist crashed into them from behind, causing severe injuries to the elderly woman.

The elderly man was also injured in the crash. Fortunately, the local police responded immediately and sent both victims to the district’s headquarters hospital for immediate medical treatment.

However, due to the old woman’s serious condition, she was eventually transferred to Burla Hospital for further treatment and expert care.

Meanwhile, police have seized the motorcycle involved in the accident as part of their investigation.
