Sambalpur: Chhath Pooja was celebrated with great ceremony in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Chhath Puja is celebrated in Sambalpur with great zeal and devotion. Especially, People of Bihar and North India who resides here performed this festival with great show and devotion. Yesterday evening, they went to Mahanadi and different rivers to worshiped the setting sun. On this occasion, devotees crowd at the main places of various Ghats of Mahanadi. At night Bhajan ceremony were organized at various places.

In the program organized by Nileshwar Dham Chhath Pooja Committee, Satya Jha from Tatanagar and Mahesh from Jamshedpur performed the Bhajan. In this program, Higher Education Minister Engg. Rohit Pujari, former BJD President Dr. Pramod Rath, Ex. Municipality Chairman Siddharth Saha, Ainthapali police station officer Yogesh Panda, Surender Singh were invited as chief guests.

Rajendra Gupta, Mandeep Sahu, Dara Singh, Ganesh Palliwal contributed to the organization of major events.
