Sambalpur: Chief Secretary and 5T secretary visit Sambalpur today
Sambalpur: A high-level team of administrative officials including Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra, 5T secretary VK Pandian, Secretary Skill Development and Technical Education and Chairman Apicol Hemant Sharma will visit Sambalpur on Thursday. During the visit, they are scheduled to visit Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Samnavit Complex at Bejamunda, Lady Lewis High School and Maa Samleshwari Temple respectively.
After landing at the Jamadarpali airstrip on Wednesday morning, they are scheduled to go to Vssut first. There is a discussion program with the Chancellor, all Heads of Departments, faculty, staff and students. While there are already demands for the improvement of Vssut, it is being discussed that the Chief Minister may announce something special in relation to Vssut after this visit. Later they will visit the homeless Shelter in Bejamunda. From there, will visit the Lady Lewis school which has been upgraded to 5T school. They will see the smart classroom and modernization work done there and discuss with the students and teachers. Finally, They will visit Maa Samleshwari Temple and review the progress of the ‘Samlei’ scheme, according to a reliable source.
