2 Union Ministers inaugurated the loan extension fair in Sambalpur
Sambalpur: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is on a two-day visit to Sambalpur. During this visit, he attended the credit extension fair. On this occasion, the Union Minister has provided loans of Rs. 2289 crores to 70,769 customers. This arrangement has been made by the Central Government to promote the growth of MSME, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. In the presence of Union Minister Pankaj Cheidhury, Mr. Pradhan has provided various types of loans including PM Mudra, PM Swanidhi, PMEGP, KCC, Stand Up India, Education, and Home Loans. He said that this will give a big incentive to small enterprises.
Union Minister Shri Pradhan said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised to reduce poverty in the country by making people self-reliant and self-respecting. Citizens are being empowered and self-reliant by providing loans under various schemes like retail loans, Mudra, Stand Up, and PM Swanidhi. Farmers are benefiting from the scheme of making available loans for agriculture, fisheries, animal husbandry, and poultry farming through the Kisan Credit Card.
Under Prime Minister Modi’s regime, the poor, women, farmers, and youth are being provided self-reliance with low-interest loans. Earlier, the loan assistance in Odisha was Rs 67 thousand crore, while under the Modi government, it has increased three times to Rs 2 lakh 14 crore. Modi government is committed to bring balanced development in the society.
