Sambalpur: Closing Ceremony of “Lok Mahotsav”, Last evening celebrated with fusion and sky lit up with fireworks
Sambalpur: Sambalpur Lok Mahotsav 2023 was ended with a fusion of dance performed by guest artists from all over the country, as if the stage was filled with hundreds of artists. These artists did not just dance. They came down from the stage and invited the guests and the audience as well. Uttaranchal IG Deepak Kumar, District Magistrate Ananya Das, Commissioner Pradeep Sahu and others joined the program.
The organisers, host of various associations and member speakers engaged in dance after 5 days of successful Lok Mahotsav. The sky of Sambalpur P.H.D ground was lit up with colorful fireworks on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the Lok Mahotsav. As such, the fireworks dazzled and amused the onlookers. Sambalpur Lok Mahotsav 2023 was ended on Tuesday evening.
MP Niranjan Bishi, Lok kabi Haldhar Nag, Hindalco Complex Chief Kailas Pandey, JSW BPSLR Director Anil Singh, Aditya Aluminium President and Complex Chief Sameer Naik and Shyam Metallics Director DK Dehury attended the preliminary meeting of the closing ceremony. The meeting held under the patronage of Commissioner Pradeep Sahu was conducted by Coordinator Ranjan Sahu. On this occasion, Gandhi Barik of Jada Bargarh and Jamuna Bishwal of Jujumura were Felicitated for their contribution in the field of folklore.
At the beginning of the meeting, the music hymns, folk songs etc enthralled the people. Ratan Pujari coordinated the music program. As soon as the new session started, the meeting was filled with audience. Rangafaru group Sambalpuri Dance captivated the audience. The traditional Ghumura dance was also very popular. At the end, the fusion of all the new teams became the biggest attraction of not only the last day, but the entire Lok Mahotsav. It included artists from Sri Lanka, Central Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Assam, Odisha, etc. There was a glimpse of diverse cultures together.
