Sambalpur: CM Naveen Pattnaik Launches ‘Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana’, 274 women receive scooter

Sambalpur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday announced the launch of the Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana at the Lok Seva Bhawan. Under this scheme, the women of Mission Shakti have been provided a loan of up to Rs. 1,00,000. Under the scheme, more than 2 lakh self-help group women in the state will get scooters. On the first day, 15,000 women were given scooty. On this occasion, 274 women from the Sambalpur district have been given this scooty at the office of the District Collector.

District Council Chairperson Kumudini Naik along with District Magistrate Ananya Das, District Chief Development Officer Dharmendra Mallik, Sadar Sub Collector Prabhas Dansena, Regional Transport Officer Ramdas Tudu, DPC Mission Shakti Bharati Besra was the chief guest. 3.62 crore rupees have been released for women’s self help groups in Sambalpur district under this scheme.
