Sambalpur: Common people and Bajrang party members seized a container full of beef that Transported from Sambalpur to West Bengal
Sambalpur: Beef has been seized again in Sambalpur district. But this time, while the police were inactive, the common people and Bajrang party members grabbed a container full of beef. It was filled with half a container of beef. As the beef was transported through the ice to West Bengal, the transporters were cleverly placed in the front with plastic buckets. After removing the said buckets, the beef came out.
While the motorists were trying to get the local people to cross the road, the angry people vandalized the road. The driver and the helper were injured. On receiving information, Sadar police reached the spot and seized the said container. Along with that, the driver and the helper were sent to the hospital.
According to information, 3 containers came out of Dhankuada at high speed on Wednesday evening. Some people chased the container because of their suspicion. People managed to catch the last container near the Jaiguru temple. While trying to stop the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle tried to run them over. That increased people’s suspicions. People got angry and vandalized the road and opened containers. A few plastic buckets were placed in front of the opening. When the said bucket was removed, beef came out. The scientific team collected meat samples for testing.
Police are Knowingly did not take action
From Sambalpur, large quantity of beef is being exported to West Bengal. The police department is not aware of this. We’re not saying that, after the container full of beef was caught on Wednesday, making it kind of clear. 3 containers came out through Dhankuada. People informed the police about this. But even after receiving the information, the police did not arrive to seize the vehicle. A container was intercepted by local people and the beef came out. Even after the people told Sadar police to seize the other 2 containers, the police ate unknown rice. People complained that 2 containers full of beef were fled away because the police did not take action.

ରାମଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ମେହେର କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଗୋ ମାଂସ ଚାଲାଣ ହେଉଛି ବୋଲି ପୁଲିସକୁ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ପୁଲିସ କୌଣସି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନ ନେବାରୁ ୨ଟି କଣ୍ଟେନର୍ ଖସିଗଲା। ସୁନାପାଲି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏହି କାରବାର ଚାଲିଛି। ପ୍ରଶାସନକୁ ଠିକଣା ଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି କାରବାର କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଜଣାଇବା ପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ କିଛି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନିଆଯାଉନି। କାହାକୁ ଗିରଫ କରାଯାଉନି। ଏହାକୁ ଗୁରୁତର ସହ ନେଇ ତୁରନ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯାଉ।
ହନୁମାନ ଜୟନ୍ତୀ ସମନ୍ବୟ ସମିତି ସମ୍ପାଦକ ସମୀର ବାବୁ କହିଛନ୍ତି, ସୁନାପାଲି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରୁ କଣ୍ଟେନର୍ ଆସୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ଧନକଉଡ଼ା ବାସିନ୍ଦା ଦେଖି ପୁଲିସକୁ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ କଲେ। ପୁଲିସ ଆସିବା ଆଗରୁ ଲୋକେ ପିଛା କରି ଗୋଟିଏ ଗାଡ଼ି ଜବତ କଲେ। ପୁଲିସକୁ ଏ ବିଷୟରେ ଜଣାଇବା ପରେ ବି ପୁଲିସ କିଛି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେଲା ନାହିଁ। ଅନ୍ୟ ୨ କଣ୍ଟେନର୍ର ପତ୍ତା ବି ଲଗାଇବାକୁ ପୁଲିସ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରିଲା ନାହିଁ। ପୁଲିସ ସ୍ବାର୍ଥ ଛାଡ଼ି ଏହି ଗୋମାଂସ କାରବାରକୁ ରୋକ ଲଗାଇବା ଦିଗରେ ଦୃଢ଼ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରୁ।
