Sambalpur: Crime is on the rise, The citizen at the door of the IG

The law and order situation in the Sambalpur metropolitan area is deteriorating as crime continues to escalate. The city is plagued by looting, robbery, assault and theft, general public is in a state of panic as the incident unfolds. Intellectuals in the city met with the Uttaranchal Police IG today to complain and demand retaliation. Emphasis has been placed on tightening patrols in the city, preventing cattle-slaughtering, and arresting drug dealers.
