Sambalpur: Cyber fraud debited Rs. 92500 from account, trapped in lust for luxurious services
Sambalpur: Another person from Sambalpur has become a victim of cyber fraud. The cyber fraud has deducted Rs 92 thousand from the account of Rajendra Haripal of Hirakud Tarasinghpara. After he filed a written complaint at the Hirakud police station, the police registered a case and started investigating the incident.
According to the complaint, Rajendra had gone to Manali in Himachal Pradesh for sightseeing a few days ago. There, a company showed him the luxury of living and traveling. Rajendra also fell in lust and agreed to take membership of the organization according to them. Then an employee of the organization asked him for his bank ATM card to activate the offer. Rajendra asked for an OTP saying that he will deduct 2 rupees. 92,500 rupees were deducted through his debit card as a loan. After learning about the loan, he asked them to cancel it. But they did not cancel. After finding out that he was a victim of fraud, he filed a written complaint in the police station.
