Sambalpur: Daitari Mohapatra, a fraudulent teacher, was detained by the police for obtaining employment using fake certificates
Sambalpur: Obtaining employment with forged certificate have to pay heavy price now. Daitari Mohapatra, a fraudulent teacher, was finally taken into custody by the police. With a fake certificate, Daitari Mohapatra of Gham Thana Parmanpur has been employed at Jampali Primary School since 2005. Daitari, became a regular teacher in 2011. His fake certificate was sent to the Board of Secondary Education, Cuttack, for verification following the complaint. The use of a false certificate by Daitari Mohapatra was later discovered. At the direction of Maneshwar BEO, he was terminated from his job in 2020. He has been employing with fake certificates for about 15 years while also receiving government salary. As a result, Niranjan Badapanda of Bhavanifield complained to the local police station, requesting that they take stern action.
The case was reported to the police, who then launched an investigation. On Thursday, police detained accused Daitari Mohapatra and took him to court. The most unexpected issue is that candidates for essential positions like teachers are hired without being verified while filling out applications for any of the government of Odisha’s agencies, such as OPSC, OSSC, etc. If it is found to be fake at the time of verification, then the question arises as to why it was not detected at the time of starting the job.
