Sambalpur: Daughter-in-law got angry about food serve, Threw the mother-in-law into the Power channel
Daughter-in-law arrested
There was a fight between the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law to serve the food. The daughter-in-law got so angry that she took her mother-in-law and threw her into the Power channel. Such incident have been seen in Sambalpur. With the help of local people, the police rescued the old woman and arrested the daughter-in-law. According to information received, on sunday night, her daughter-in-law Sabita Bhue had a quarrel with Laya Bhue (68), a resident of Burla Thana Majhipali’s Temporary colony. Her husband, Radheshyam Bhue, refused. Enraged, Sabita dragged her mother-in-law Laya out of the house around 11 pm and locked her husband from outside. Later, she beat up his mother-in-law and threw her into the power channel.
As she was floating in the water, she grabbed and hold of one of the pillars of a nearby iron bridge and called out for rescue. Hearing her screams, the local people reached and reported to the police. Burla police officer Anil Pradhan, SI Debashish Khilar and other personnel immediately reached the spot. With the help of fire brigade and local youth, Laya Bhue was rescued and immediately admitted in Vimsar. Laya is currently undergoing treatment there. After her son Radheshyam filed a written complaint, the police registered a case and started investigating the incident. Police arrested Sabita Bhue (35) while she was hiding in a relative’s house in Burla Board Colony. Sabita was charged by police on monday.
