Sambalpur: Death of VSSUT Ex-student Chinmayi: Ethyl alcohol consumption in viscera report, information from SP
Sambalpur: About two months after the death of VSSUT former student Chinmayi, her viscera report has been received by the police. The report found evidence that the student had consumed ethyl alcohol. That means Chinmayi was drunk that night. CCTV footage showed that she and her male friend Preetiman were drunk alcohol at the hotel, Sambalpur SP B. Gangadhar informed.
It is worth noting that last February 28, VSSUT student Chinmayi came to attend the convocation. But that night she died mysteriously. It is a murder or suicide while the investigation process of the police is continuing, meanwhile, the autopsy report and diatom report of Chinmayi have been taken by the police. However, while both reports mention that Chinmayi died by drowning, whether she drowned herself or who pushed her into the water by force remains a mystery. The police informed that Chinmayi’s viscera report will reveal the real mystery of the death. In the meantime, Burla police station officer Sushant Das informed that the report of the deceased Chinmayi’s viscera has been received by the police.
On February 28, Chinmayi came to attend VSSUT convocation ceremony to receive her bachelor’s degree. That evening, she went to eat at a nearby Dhaba with her male friends. At night, she told her mother that she had also taken a ticket to go to Bhubaneswar. But, what happened suddenly was that the family got her death news through the university authorities. Based on this, Chinmayi’s mother filed a written complaint at Burla police station that her daughter was killed and not suicide. On the other hand, Preetiman and Manas’ lie detection test was also conducted. But the police said that they did not give any wrong information.
