Sambalpur: Demand for Auto Parking Facility Near Samaleswari Temple

Sambalpur: The Jai Maa Samleswari Auto Drivers Association, formed a decade ago by members of the Samleswari Auto Drivers Association, has been active in campaigning for parking spots near the Samleswari Temple. Previously, autos were permitted to park near the temple, allowing pilgrims easy access. However, with the initial launch of the Samlei project, a lack of parking facilities has caused financial difficulties for autos and inconvenience for devotees.

In response to these issues, the union’s workers and members met with the district magistrate and submitted a written request. They are pleading with officials to set aside a proper parking area near the temple to minimize the problems faced by both drivers and pilgrims.
