Sambalpur: Dengue took student lives, yet SMC is silent!

Sambalpur: A college student has died of dengue. The student was Mohammad Sami, a first-year science student studying at NSCB College. Mohammad Sami, son of BJP leader Mohammad Sanaullah, fell ill a few days ago. He was immediately taken to a prestigious private clinic in the city. The family consulted with a specialist doctor at the District General Hospital as his health did not improve even after a few days of treatment at home.The concerned doctor immediately advised him to be admitted to the hospital. However, they took him to a large private hospital in the city in the hope of getting better treatment. The doctor there, however, advised to be taken to another major hospital. He was rushed to Kims Hospital in Bhubaneswar. He died on the second day of admission.

According to the medical reports, he was died of dengue, the doctor said. From the beginning, he was treated for jaundice in Sambalpur. However, after being taken to Bhubaneswar, doctors there found out that Mohammad Sami had been infected with dengue. Sami’s father, Mohammad Sanaullah, said his liver and other organs were also damaged.

In Sambalpur, people have been affected by the dengue, while metropolitan corporations have been sit silently. The city’s sanitation system is not proper. The cleaning is not done properly. Everyone from the RDC to the district commissioner has expressed dissatisfaction with the city’s sanitation system. Despite this, the new tender Nadaki Metropolitan Corporation continues to show loyalty to a particular organization even after the expiration of its term.

Appropriate action should be taken soon, and if the dengue spread, Conscious citizens have not questioned who will be responsible for that.
