Sambalpur: ‘DHH’ turned into a Contractor’s stockyard
Sambalpur: There is no space for Patients in Hospitals. Beds are unavailable. The patient’s relatives are living on the floor. Sometimes the space is too small. ‘DHH’ turned into a Contractor’s stockyard, laying full of cement and tiles. The hospital area is filled with dust. Still, there is no one to tell the truth. Construction work is going on at Sambalpur DHH. Surgery Ward and surrounding areas are being redeveloped. People are being disturbed because of the arbitrariness of the working organization. Surgery is a very sensitive area. These patients are advised to avoid dust and smoke. In the same way, due to the mistake of the construction company, the patients cannot be given proper service even outdoors. The patient complained that the work was being delayed even though the work was ordered to be completed by the 16th of next month.
Not only this but by favoring the agency, one entry is closed. It has been deliberately closed down as the construction materials are being robbed. The question arises as to why this responsibility not given to guards when there is a mandatory number of security guards in the hospital. District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Purnachandra Sahu said that there is no stockyard in DHH. Because there is no need to put any cement or sand here because there is a surgical ward in the working hospital. They did not listen to us even though we told them. However, it is also unclear whether the work will be completed within the deadline. Therefore, the provision of medical services is hindered, said CDMO.
