Sambalpur: A worshiper of Samaleswari temple Sarang Rai has been paralyzed after developing high blood pressure. His 2 sons and daughters are mentally retarded. When three members of the family are disabled, responsibility is on the head of Sarang’s wife Pranatee.
According to the scheme, the worshipers were accommodated. His house is also near the temple premises. The land surveyor and the RI asked him to leave the said house. “You are a disabled person, you you will be accommodated without any problem.” Later, they identified a spot on the roadside at Goshala, Sarang performed the Bhumipooja.
But a few days later some officials came and complained. According to Pranatee, it is not possible to keep 3 disabled people away from the road. But after finding no way to give the land found on the roadside to someone else, Pranatee and his entire family complained to the Sambalpur District Collector on Tuesday. District Magistrate Ananya Das said that the incident will be investigated and solved soon after the entire family appealed to the District Magistrate to give justice and give them a place on the roadside.
