Sambalpur district has achieved success in the state-level yoga Olympiads
Sambalpur district has achieved success at the state level Yoga Olympiad held at the Capital High School premises in Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar. Students from Sambalpur are eligible to participate in the National Yoga Olympiad in the senior boys’ category, followed by JP High School, Sindurpunk’s Tirthavas Kumar, Harshit Gadnayake second, Abinash Nag third and Sahil Pradhan fourth.
Similarly, in the senior girls category, Priya Badi of JP High School Sindurap came first and Ankita Hua of Kaishi High School came second. In the junior boys category, Omprakash Sahu of Kaishi High Primary School came first and Swagat Mahamallik came fourth. Chittaranjan Panda, Satya Ranjan Panda, Mary Singh and Tribhikram Rana from the district participated as guides in the national level competition to be held in New Delhi on June 14.
District Education Officer Minarani Mangal and District Sports Education Inspector Jagbandhu Behera congratulated the successful students on the upcoming national level competition.
