“Give the deserved person loan immediately”

Sambalpur: A meeting of the District Advisory Committee has been held in the DRDA conference room. The meeting was chaired by District Magistrate Ananya Das. The district commissioner has directed all departmental officials and banks to provide immediate loans to eligible applicants under various government schemes. It is also advisable to make arrangements so that everyone can get a loan within the allotted time without delay. All the departmental officials have been instructed on how the beneficiaries can avail the benefits of the scheme by taking out bank loans under various schemes sponsored by the Central and State Governments.

The meeting focused on the progress of the plan and the coordination with the bank, which is being carried out mainly through various departments. All banks have been instructed to provide loans to SHG members beyond the target. The meeting also decided to give priority to producer groups, especially those working in the field of Kuchinda chilli cultivation and sales. Similarly, digital services have also been made available to rural CFCs. The meeting was attended by DRDA Additional Project Director Tanmay Darwan, District Leading Bank Manager Shivaji Patel, all departmental officials and bank officials, among others.
