According to the source, Dr. Shankar Ramchandani, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, Vimsar, opened the One Rupee Clinic in Burla on January 12, 2021, named for his mother Lajbanti Ramchandani. By treating the poor patients, Dr. Ramchandani accepted only one rupee in return and created a stir across the country. Meanwhile, Dr. Ramchandani is providing free medicine, free car service, and a portable ECG service.
