Sambalpur: Drains near roads of Sambalpur city is in dangerous state, a Bull fall into a large drain pit
Sambalpur: The drains in roads of Sambalpur city are in danger. While the drains are not cleaned regularly, the drains are about 5/6 feet deep. With no cover on the drains, the drains are inviting accident on the crowded street. When there are always festivals and processions in the city, these drains are overflowing. There is also a possibility of people passing through the streets will fall into the dug because the drains are not covered . The pits are so big that bulls are falling in.
Today, a black bull was fall into a large pit that had opened up near a hotel on Ashoka Talkies Street.
After lying down for a long time, some people from that area informed the rescue team forces. The rescue team forces arrived and with the help of the local people rescued the bull from the pit with great difficulty.
The Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation has been demanded to make arrangements to cover the open drains on the city streets immediately before Sital Sasti Festival.
