Sambalpur: Eco Retreat started in Hirakud

Eco Retreat started in Hirakud, inaugurated by Chief Minister Sambalpur: A five-star hotel inside the tent also enjoys playing in the vast waters of the Diamond Reservoir. It also has the opportunity to enjoy the natural environment. The eco-retreat, launched by the Odisha government’s tourism department at Hirakud, offers many unique and entertaining opportunities. Eco-retreats have been launched in four places in the state since Wednesday with the aim of promoting the eco-tourism industry. Eco Retreat has also been launched this year near Left Dyke of Sambalpur Hirakud Dam after its success last year. The Chief Minister inaugurated the Hirakud Eco Retreat at 11 a.m. on Wednesday via video conferencing. Kuchinda MLA Kishore Nayak, Uttaranchal Range DIG Dr. K.S. Deepak Kumar, Sambalpur District Commissioner Shubham Saksena, Joint Director and Tourism Secretary Debashis Sahu, PD DRDA Dillip Kumar Bal, Sadar Deputy District Commissioner Suryavanshi Peacock Development Chief were present. Requested to have fun. Mr Saxena said the eco-retreat would last for three months at Hirakud. Hemant Pradhan, Deputy Director, Department of Tourism, officiated the inauguration ceremony. Arrangements such as star hotels under the tent will be available to friends, restaurants, conference rooms, etc.This year, 25 (20 deluxe, 5 premium) cottages have been set up at Hirakud Eco Retreat. You can book cottages at ecoretreat.odishatourism.gov.in. For one night stay, you have to pay a GST of Rs 1260 and Rs 1,200. In addition, if you have a child over the age of 5, you will have to pay an additional Rs 4,000 and GST for him. On the other hand, the GST is set at Rs 14,000 for Saturday and Sunday nights.
