Sambalpur: Entire Odisha is boiled in unusual summer heat, All schools remained closed from 12th to 14th April
Sambalpur: Fire started raining from the sky early in the morning. It felt as if his hands and face were burnt. The temperature of Sambalpur reached 40.8 degrees.
In view of the severe summer heat, all the schools and Anganwadi Centers in the state will be closed from 12th to 16th. Classes will be closed in both government and private schools up to the 10th standard. The government will take further steps after seeing the situation.

- The maximum temperature in the state is 43 degrees and can reach up to 44 degrees on 14th (Pana Sankranti).
Chief Minister Mr. Pattnaik returned after completing his visit to Japan. After reaching here, he reviewed with the senior officials about the summer heat and various health related processes. In the last few days, the temperature has been increasing. The Chief Minister ordered to make necessary preparations to normalize the supply of drinking water in both urban and rural areas.
