Sambalpur: Everyone mourns the death of Shri Naba Kishore Das, Meetings cancelled and Marriage parties postponed
Sambalpur: The shadow of Sambalpur’s mourning has been cast on the demise of Health Minister Shri Kishore Das. Some meetings have been cancelled and some outdoor parties have also been stopped.
Mr. Sambalpur 2023 competition was held yesterday by Sambalpur Body Building and Fitness Association. The death of health minister Shri Naba kishore Das was reported during the district level competition at Chitragupta Temple Street in Sambalpur. Meetings and all cultural programs were cancelled after receiving this information. At the same time, a two-minute silent prayer was offered in the assembly hall to mourn the Minister of Health death. President of Sambalpur District Bodybuilding and Fitness Association Satish Bishi including Amit Parida, Nishant Bohidar, State President Santosh Mohanty, Hiralal Behera, Shah Alam, Debashish Parida, Yogesh GG, Alim Kamdar mourn for the peace of his soul. Western Odisha had suffered irreparable damage.
Similarly, Bikram Patnaik, the brother of the famous Biswajit Pattnaik, a resident of Tolapada, Sambalpur, had an Marriage party. All the preparations were done at Patneswari Kalyan Mandap. A variety of delicacies were prepared and in some time the marriage party would have started and the relatives and friends had already come to join the party, but when the news of Naba Das’s death came, Biswajit and his family were devastated. Biswajit is a strong follower of Naba Das. Naba Das has also contributed to the rise of Biswajit, so Biswajit, saddened to hear the news of Naba Das’s departure, decided to cancel his brother’s Marriage party.
Similarly, in Sambalpur, his death has been mourned by prominent sports organizer and coach Vishambara Bohidar, who said, “Naba Das was a student of Mudipada Bullet Gym and was training under me.” At that time, he was arranging the truck to carry out the Picnic. After becoming a minister, I did not forget the gym. Mr. Bohidhar expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.Sambalpur District President Eng Sidharth Das also expressed deep grief and said that the untimely demise of Naba kishore Das has caused an irreparable loss to the politics of Western Odisha and the undivided Sambalpur district. He was deeply saddened by the loss of his long-time friend, and served with great skill as the Health Minister. The Covid pandemic was successfully tackled by him under the guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik.
BJD spokesperson and Samleswari Temple Trust Board President Sanjay Babu said, Naba Das’ departure is an irreparable loss for the entire state. I am saddened by his passing. Coordinator of Bhagat Nanda Memorial Committee Dr. Gauridas Pradhan said. With the passing away of Naba Das, the Bhagat Nanda Memorial Committee lost a patron. Bhagavat Nanda was publicly referred to as a mentor in his political career and was an unwavering supporter of Bhagavat Nanda’s efforts to protect his memory. Dr. Pradhan said that the Bhagvat Nand Memorial Committee is deeply saddened by the loss of a philanthropist and an active politician like him.
Sandeep Pattnaik, General Editor of Sambalpur District, expressed deep grief. Sandeep said that Naba Das’ passing away is an irreparable loss for him personally and for Odisha. Sudhir Ranjan Bohidar, coordinator of Bajrang Dal, said, “He was a philanthropist and a charitable and compassionate person. He always tried for the development of Western Odisha and Jharsuguda. Similarly, Congress leader Sudhir Panda, Ashaf Ali Khan, lawyer Prasanna Sahu, BJD leader Sanjit Mohanty, along with many people have expressed condolences to his bereaved family.
Funeral today in Kherwal
The time has been fixed for the final darshan and last rites of Jharsuguda district MLA and Honorable Odisha Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Naba Kishore Das Today. On the 30th (Monday) at 11:00 a.m., the last procession left Behramal Kisan Street and at 1:00 a.m. reach the Manmohan M.E. school grounds. The funeral will be held at Kherwal at 3.00 pm.
