Sambalpur: Fake SDA Planning Scams are long, Samal Babu cheated 5.5 lakhs from a doctor

Sambalpur: While the case of fake building plan documents has put Sambalpur in the limelight across the state, fraud is on the rise. Every day new people are seen coming to the police station to complain about being a victim of fraud. SDA Clerk, who is said to be the main accused in the fake planning scam, has been arrested by the police along with 5 people. After the news of the arrest of these accused, the number of victims of the fraud continues to rise. Samal Babu’s gang cheated 5.5 lakh rupees from Pradeep Panda of Sambalpur Town Police Station area.

According to the information, to build the house, Mr. Panda went to the SDA office for planning permission. SDA Clerk Laxminarayan Samal paid Rs. 5.5 Lakh. Mr. Panda filed a complaint on Sunday to the Town police station. The police have registered a case and started investigating the incident

SDA Clerk, Laxminarayan Samal (32) of Old SBI Park Line and Steno Sudshanshu Pati (59) of Jharduapada, Ajay Behera (47) of Kaishir, Vikas Jagat (36) of Mahandi vihar, DambrudharTripathi (40) of Kuluthkani have been arrested by the police. While no one has been arrested in this case, the police said that the investigation is continuing.
