Sambalpur: The first fire of the year broke out in the Budharaja Hills of Sambalpur on Sunday. Due to the fire, many areas have been burnt and many trees have also been destroyed. The forest department suspects that someone set the fire knowingly. The fire was found on Sunday afternoon.

After receiving information from the people, the forest department and the fire department reached the spot and extinguished the fire. Budharaja Hill has become a hotbed of anti-social youth. There are instances of drug dealing and marijuana smoking in many rogue hills. People alleged that one of those miscreants started the fire. People demanded that it should be investigated.
