Sambalpur: First time in the state, Cruise boat facilities to be launched in Hirakud Reservoir

A new system is being set up to attract more tourists to the Burla, Hirakud Reservoir, to attract more tourists. For the first time in the state, cruise ship facilities in the Hirakud Reservoir are expected to start soon. That’s when the cruise ship came and fell into the reservoir, the agency said it would provide the service within a day or two.

For the first time in the state, cruise services will be launched in the Diamond Reservoir. All preparations are nearing completion and will be operational within the next two days. The state tourism department has allowed private companies to operate the cruise ship. The agency brought the cruise ship to the Hirakud Reservoir on Sunday and was found dumped near Jhankarani Right Dyke. While the cruise ship system is nowhere in the state, this is the first time that it has been started in the Hirakud Reservoir.
