Sambalpur: Folk Poet Haldhar Nag’s poetry shines in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal
Sambalpur: In Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, folk poet Haldhar Nag’s poetry has enchanted hundreds of listeners and poets and writers from different countries. The poet stunned everyone there by reciting poems in the Nepali language like ‘Panchamrti’, ‘Kavi haldhar Ke Letter’, Kamadhenu (a part of Mahasati Urmila), Chachaya etc.
Shri Nag attended the literary gathering held on Saturday afternoon and launched the book ‘Madness: An Anthology of World Poetry’, a collection of poems from different languages of the world. Sri Nag’s poem ‘Nana Pagal’ is featured in it. This poetry collection of 616 pages contains the poems of 297 poets from 111 countries of the world and has been published by Red Panda Books. This compilation is a rare take on the world’s social and political madness. Therefore, Dr. on the occasion of the book review will create a special place in the world poetry campaign. In the program, prominent dramatist Dr. Kesaranjan was the chief guest of honor. Titled ‘Celebrating Madness’, the gathering featured 13 thought-provoking pieces of art by Sushila Singh.
