Sambalpur: The festive season is coming. For this, SMC is focused on testing the quality of food in Sambalpur city. Today, the food safety department has raided various fruit shops, sweet shops, and roadside stalls in the Golebazar area of the city. Under the leadership of Anju Ekka, Food Safety Officer of Sambalpur Zone, and with the cooperation of other staff, the quality of food was monitored.

The shopkeepers who do not have a license to sell food have been ordered to get a license within 7 days.
The department has warned that if there is disobedience, the shop will be closed. During the puja, the quality of the food is maintained. cleanliness has been enforced in all the shops. Grocers are mainly advised not to use burnt oil. The department informed that people have been warned many times before, but if they do not obey, strict action will be taken without leaving anyone behind.
