Sambalpur: Four members of a family were stabbed, Tensions over previous hostilities

Sunapali: Four members of the family were Stabbed in the clear daylight. Two people were injured in the incident and were taken to Burla Hospital. Police are detaining and questioning a man in connection with the incident, as of press time, no charges have been filed. According to reliable sources, the incident happens because they seized the car due to non-payment of debts.

According to reports, MD Kalam and his family were at home at around 8.30am this morning. About 15 people arrived at his home at this time. There was an argument between the two sides over something. People who came began to carry out deadly weapons and start attack Kalam and his family. Due to which Kalam sustained injuries to his arms and legs and Taluddin, 15, sustained abdominal injuries. Two other women from the family were also injured in the attack. Neighbors rushed to the scene and attackers fled the scene. The injured were rescued in injured condition and was first admitted to the district hospital. Tajuddin was rushed to Burla Hospital in critical condition. The law and order situation in Dhanupali is deteriorating. While the looting scales continue on a daily basis, stabbing in broad daylight, gangwar people lost sleep. But there is growing dissatisfaction among the people over the actions of the police.
