Sambalpur: Four people were seriously injured when a truck collided head-on with a bike

Four people on the bike were seriously injured when a freight truck collided head-on with a bike near the Tangarpali railway station. The accident happened around 3 p.m., Tuesday. The truck (OD 15B0087) was coming from Aithapali when it collided with a bike (OR – 23 – E – 5159) coming from the other side. Hrishikesh Tripathi (41), his wife Dolly Tripathi (35), daughter Snigdha (11) and Son Sanchit (7) of Bamra area were seriously injured. Their right legs, feet and face were injured. The driver of the truck, which turned left on the left side of the truck to save the rider, crashed into the road. The injured are being treated in Vimsar.
