Sambalpur: Free food service was launched every Sunday in Vimsar
Burla: Sambalpur police and social activist Ramdas Panda’s dream has come true. Every Sunday, relatives of the patient receive free meals. In the backward of vimsar, this free food has started to be given.
The service was launched on the first day today, with the help of patient relatives.
From Monday to Saturday ,Aahar center food is being provided for Rs 5. Aahar is closed Sunday. Every Sunday, poor relatives are in trouble. So Ramdas had already planned to give free food on Sunday, he said.
Today’s inaugural function was attended by many dignitaries including Ramdas, Padma Shri Jitendra Haripal, social activist Nihal Singh, Bipin Bihari Panda, Swadhin Chhatag, Dalma and Mango Khata distribution Abhinash Mishra, Subrata Panda, Anil Dehuri.
On the first day, 400 patients were given rice,dalma,mango chutney. Ramdas has hinted that more items will be done in the future.
