Sambalpur: Ganeshwar Bhoi came forward to help and provide free services at the Shankar Ramchandani’s One Rupee Clinic
Burla: Impressed by Assistant Professor Dr. Shankar Ramchandani’s work, an old man came forward to help him and provide his own services. Ganeshwar Bhoi works as a government employee in textile department of Barpali Thana in Bargarh district. However, his written request to Dr. Ramchandani to quit his job before retirement and work for free at the one rupee clinic today has become a hot topic.
Ganeshwar has come forward to provide free services at the one rupee clinic of Dr. Ramchandani, who has come to the periphery of the state. Today he arrived at the one rupee clinic and even without any money, Dr. Ganeshwar said that after meeting Dr. Ramchandani, he will be given the opportunity to work here for free at one rupee clinic and help Dr. Ramchandani in patient care. His wife and he are alone in the home. The only daughter is already married. So he left her wife to his daughter and son-in-law’s house and ran to work at the one rupee clinic. He even resigned from his job with a few months remaining for retirement and said he was interested in working here. Today, Ganeshwar along with his daughter and son-in-law came to the one rupee clinic and made such a request. However, Dr. Ramchandani said, “Ganeshwar will be given an opportunity to serve if needed after retirement.” Such mentality of Ganeshwar has been generally appreciated.
