Sambalpur: GST Official Raided Banka Jewellers

Sambalpur: A jewellery shop was raided by the GST department in Sambalpur on Thursday. The City GST department raided Banka Jewellery on Baidyanath Street under the Town police station on Thursday morning. Two teams of the GST department raided the shop and office. The raid was carried out due to allegations of GST evasion and the sale of gold jewellery without a bill. The GST department has seized some important documents of gold jewellery buyers. An investigation has been started by the department to find out whether GST has been evaded or not.
