Sambalpur: Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences, Jabalpur became the winner of Smart India Hackathon 2023
Burla: The final competition of the two-day Smart India Hackathon (SIH) organized at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) was organised its closing ceremony today. Team Immersive Reality from GGITS, Jabalpur bagged first place and bagged a prize of Rs 1 lakh at the closing ceremony organized by its nodal center. Similarly, as the first runner-up, MMU Ambala team Elite Byte and IIT Kharagpur team Con Sole jointly won 75 thousand rupees. As the second runners-up, TINT, Kolkata’s Code Elex Team won a prize of Rs. 50,000.
Pratap Sanap, Head of Research and Innovation Nelsoft, Pradeep Dang, Registrar of Vssut, and Faculty Controller Tularam Kolet attended the event, which was presided over by Vssut Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bansidhar Majhi.
It was conducted by the Innovation Cell of the Union Ministry of Education with the aim of studying the various problems faced by the Foundation and other organizations and getting the students to come up with solutions. It is being organized during the year 2017 to promote creative production and problem problem-solving mindset among the students. In the program, 51 problems of 25 ministries have been identified and included in the competition.
