Sambalpur: Half of the lights are not burning on the Chaurpur bridge of Sambalpur city.

Sambalpur: The bridge connecting Sambalpur city to Chaurpur is now dark. Surya Panigrahi, former district yuvamorcha president, alleged that more than half of the street lights installed for the lighting system are not burning. It is sad that no one is paying attention to this even though it is in the hands of the district administration, people are complaining. Currently, there are only 25 traffic lights burning on the bridge, but more than 40 lights are not burning. After the construction of this bridge, there is a large gathering of the public for evening strolls. The possibility of falling prey to anti-social elements in dark conditions cannot be avoided, alleged Mr. Panigrahi. It is generally demanded that the district administration and Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation authorities take immediate action.
