Sambalpur: Hirakud Eco Retreat for the year 2023-24 will be begin from November
Sambalpur: A preparatory meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Ananya Das regarding the organization of the Hirakud Eco Retreat for the year 2023-24. Eco Retreat is scheduled to open in Balbaspur for 3 months from November. There will be 25 tents where the tourists will have a chance to see tourist attractions like Debrigarh, Hirakud Dam, Ghanteswari, Samaleswari Temple, Sambalpur Zoo (Deer Park), etc.
The District Magistrate directed all the line departments to ensure the immediate completion of the preparations on how to organize the Hirakud Eco-Retreat successfully.
In the meeting which was held at the Education Conference Room, Additional District Magistrate Pradeep Sahu, Sambalpur Metropolitan Commissioner Veda Bhushan, District Chief Medical Officer Dr Purna Chandra Sahu, OSD Tourism Department Hemant Kumar Pradhan, TPWODL Executive Engineer Dambarudhar Ojha, ACF Hirakud R.R. Sahu, District Information and Public Relations Officer Fakir Mohan Majhi, Full Department Assistant Executive Engineer Shashikant Jena and other Officials from various departments were also present.
