Sambalpur: Hirakud ITI student Sagar has topped the state
Hirakud: Another student of Hirakud ITI has become the topper this year. For the past few years, students of ITI Hirakud have been topping the global exams. In previous years, Virendra Seth, a student of machinist trade, Sagarika of Electrician has brought glory to ITI by winning the top position, while Sagar Patel of Wireman Trade has topped this time. Sagar, a resident of Kisinda in Sambalpur, take admission in ITI Hirakud in 2020. In the last 4 exams of the current year 2022, he has got marks 1185 out of 1300 and has taken the top position in the wireman department in the state. Sagar’s father Vinod Bihari Patel is a farmer and his mother Rita Patel is a housewife. Elder sister Jayshree Patel is a graduate. Sagar said that there is no alternative to strong self-belief and hard work to achieve goals. He is currently undergoing advanced training at World Skill Centre, Bhubaneswar.
