Sambalpur: The severe summer outbreak continues in Western Odisha. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning for 8 districts of Western Odisha on Monday Those districts are Sambalpur, Balangir, Boudh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Subarnapur, Sundergarh and Angul, the department has expressed fear that the temperature may increase by 3 to 5 degrees in different parts of these districts within the next 48 hours. Some have warned that the temperature will exceed 45.1°. In this regard, the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has written a warning letter to the District Magistrates of all the 8 districts. In the next 48 hours, the people of the district have been asked to take precautionary measures against the outbreak of summer heat. The advisory guidelines issued by the IMD to the state government and the district administration have stated that the common man can bear this summer but it is a concern for the health of children, senior citizens, and patients, the summer heat will continue till evening for the next 2 days, then it is very important to be cautious from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, so people should not leave their homes unless it is absolutely necessary. will take action. Drink enough water to avoid dehydration. Cold food and drinks like watermelon, sugar syrup, lemon syrup will be taken. It is recommended to cover the head with a rug and use black glasses when going out.
