Sambalpur: Illegal parking to be removed from Vimsar: Employees kept vehicles by showing identity card: Discontent over security guards’ Dabanggiri
BURLA: Every day, thousands of patients from different districts come to Vimsar, mostly in two-wheelers and four-wheelers, their families used to park their vehicles in front of the main gate of the hospital as the roads were jammed, leaving the ambulances unable to move accommodate patients in critical condition.
It is alleged that some security guards and supervisors of the Vimsar barred the entry of workers’ vehicles into Burla Vimsar. As a result, the employees expressed their displeasure about such arbitrariness of the security personnel. On the other hand, the security guards and supervisors of the security agency were blocking the traffic of the employees and they said that the superintendent had given such an order. But the Medical Superintendent issued an order That the workers in the medical center did not block the entrance by taking their own vehicle. Those who do not show their identity cards in front of the main gate of the medical center have mentioned that the vehicle or the staff, whether they are regular employees for a long time, will be checked by the security personnel at the medical gate and they will be taken away from the medical center.
Vimsar Superintendent Prof. Lalmohan Naik has informed that the security agency has been instructed to strictly follow this rule that the staff can show their identity card and park the vehicle in the hospital premises. Prof. Naik Asha expressed the hope that this would curb the increasing illegal parking in hospital premises and that ambulances engaged in emergency services would be able to provide patient care at the facility.
