Sambalpur: Incident of police personnel killed in an accident, Accused driver arrested, Vehicle Seized

Sambalpur: Naveen Shabar, a working constable, died in an accident at Parmanpur near Jampali under Sason police station. Ajit Sahu (22) of Parmanpur Salepali, who hit his bike, was arrested by Sason police station on Monday. The police have also seized the car that caused the accident (OD15M 5410).

Notably, Naveen was patrolling in Jampali late night on Friday when the car hit the bike. He fell down injured and was rescued by the patrolling team of Sason Police Station and taken to Burla Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
