Sambalpur: Chandrayaan-3 is targeted to land successfully on the surface of the moon at 5:37 p.m. on the 23rd. Sudhir Kumar, director of CBPO at ISRO headquarters, who came to attend a program organized at Burla Veer Surendra Sai University of Science and Technology (VSSUT), nurtured this hope. Sudhir Kumar informed that Chandrayaan-2 could not succeed due to some mechanical problems. In Chandrayaan-3, the existing defects have been rectified with the help of new technology. Since this time more technological advancements have been made than before, and Chandrayaan-3 is sure to be successful.

A conference titled ‘Rocketry, Space Program and Demonstration of Agriculture and Surveillance Drones’ was organized by Vssut’s ‘Space Innovation and Incubation’ Center in association with ISRO at Biju Patnaik e-Learning Center today. ISRO CBPO Director Sudhir Kumar and Deputy Director Nishant Kumar joined and said that they are ready to provide all kinds of support to Vssut. Project Consultant Dr. MRK Menon, retired Air Vice Marshal Suresh Singh also attended and appreciated the efforts of Vssut students. Vice Chancellor Dr. Bansidhar Majhi and the head of the electronics and telecommunication engineering department coordinated the program. Harish Kumar Sahu was involved.
