Sambalpur: ITI Hirakud student is an all-India topper

Sambalpur: Sagarika Bakli, a student of ITI Hirakudar, topped the Non-Traditional (Electrician) trade in India with 96.92 percent. Sagarika’s father Thomas, a resident of Hirakud Chakraborty Pada, is an auto driver and mother Parvati is a housewife. Sagarika aims to become an engineer in the future with further advancement in technical education. Notably, Birendra Seth from the ITI also topped the Machinist trade in the All India Examination last year. This year, another student took the top spot and made ITI proud. It is clear that the quality of training in ITI Hirakud has increased.
