Sambalpur: Janmashtami Nandaustav was celebrated at the ISKCON temple in Burla from 6.09.23 to 8.09.23
Burla: Many programs are held in the temple on the occasion. Reading programs based on the Bhagavad Gita have been conducted in many educational institutes in Sambalpur and Burla areas for the benefit of the student society. About 500 students and faculty members were present in the program held at Vssut Burla Engineering College on 06.09.23. Harinam and Sankirtan, Odissi dances were performed in the program and Sri Asit Krishna Das gave a seminar on the seven keys to success in life based on the Bhagavad Gita. On that day, Janmashtami celebrations were celebrated at Vimsar under the leadership of Shripad Sandimuni Das.
Apart from this, a seminar was organized at OUAT Chipilama and Vedic International College. Sripad Padaseba Das gave discourses on Srimad Bhagavad Gita for seven days in the temple.
Around 500 devotees from different parts participated in the Janmashtami Nandautsab held at the temple. All the devotees were distributed the food of Lord Shri Krishna. ISKCON Burla organized year-round programs to educate the masses on the basis of the Bhagavad Gita and Vedic scriptures for leading a better life. Temple Managing Director Shripad Amiya Das thanked all those who helped to make the program a success.
