Sambalpur: Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 student molested, English teacher arrested

Sambalpur: It is reported that teacher Arun Kumar Joshi has been arrested by Bareipali police station on the charge of misbehaving with a central school student. It is reported that the upazilapal and tehsildar reached the school after receiving information about the incident.

According to information, English teacher Arun Kumar Joshi called some students to learn presentation (anchoring) during the annual function in the central school. He touched an objectionable part of the ninth grader’s student body. The student first complained to the class teacher. But he did not listen to this and told her parents. Later, together with the parents, they informed the school chairman about the incident. Later, on the basis of the written complaint of the Chairman, Bareipali police station picked up English teacher Arun Kumar Joshi and detained him in the police station for questioning. The teacher is said to have confessed his guilt before the police.
